Fine Art Portrait Prices
Winter, 2007/2008 - prices subject to change without notice
You won't find finer quality portraits. I personally print each of your photographs using state-of-the-art pigmented inks on museum-grade fine-art papers, then prepare them for presentation using conservation grade mounting and framing materials. When properly cared for, these gallery-quality pigmented ink prints (also known as giclée prints) have an archival life expectancy beyond one century.
Session fee: $600
- Includes
- ~ a pre-session consultation
- ~ a single unlimited photography session at the location of your choice
- ~ proof sheets (yours to keep, no watermarks)
- ~ two matted and framed print units (see below)
Client is responsible for any unusual expenses such as extended travel, location fees, permits, special props, etc.
Prints: one print unit is Four 5x7 OR Four 6x9 OR Two 8x10 OR one 11x14 OR one 13x19.
Other presentation options are available by quote, including archival museum cases, portfolios, or
hand-made albums and books.
Your session fee includes two print units, matted and framed. Additional prints may be purchased for $60/unit unmounted, $110/unit matted, or $225/unit matted and framed (high-quality aluminum frame; request a quote for custom framing).
Copyright: You may purchase the copyright and all copies of your images for $2500. You will receive a written assignment of copyright and an affidavit assuring that all existing copies have been turned over to you.
Payment: 50% of the base fee is required as a non-refundable reservation deposit. 25% plus any additional expenses is due at completion of your photo session. The remaining 25% is due on delivery of your prints. I accept credit cards through PayPal, as well as personal checks, money orders, and cash.
